Public Hearing: An Interim Ordinance Prohibiting the Operation of Cannabis Businesses

On August 15, 2023 City Council adopted the ordinance concerning the use of cannabis and hemp in public.

The Edina City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 15, at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers at 4801 W. 50^th Street to consider the Interim Ordinance Prohibiting the Operation of Cannabis Businesses.

It is the intent of this ordinance to allow the City of Edina time to complete an in-depth study concerning adoption of revisions of the City’s official controls for the manufacturing, testing, distributing, and selling of Cannabis Flower and Cannabis Products, and the operation of Cannabis Businesses.
