Design update

The design team is making progress and will be ready to share more details in March or April. Here are key issues we are tracking:

  1. We're working to reduce the time (and possibly eliminate) the temporary access period where cars would not be able to access across the creek by making subtle modifications to the road alignment.
  2. If the temporary access period is unable to be eliminated, we are coordinating with Edina police and fire services to make sure we have emergency access provisions and close coordination
  3. The large reinforced concrete pipe to the west needs replacement as it's flow line is decayed with reinforcing steel evident in CCTV video.
  4. The watermain crossing of the box culvert needs careful consideration to manage the risk of freeze.
