Cahill Update

Right after our Kick-Off Meeting in November, we opened up the application process for Edina stakeholders who were interested in serving on the Cahill District Area Plan Working Group. We received dozens of applications. The qualifications and enthusiasm of the applicants made the selection process difficult, but ten applicants were nominated and approved by the Edina Planning Commission in late December.

The Working Group will begin meeting in January. The first meeting will focus on getting to know each other, oriented on the Working Group's charge, and role moving forward. In the meantime, the co-chairs and City staff have been developing a draft of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for consulting services to support the project.
