Construction Update - 7/12/2024

As construction begins on your street, PLEASE consistently check your front door daily for time sensitive notifications. All updates below are scheduled for the week of 7/15 and are WEATHER PERMITTING.

Traffic Update

Expect closures and delays near the intersection of St. Johns/ Garrison Ln. We recommend using alternate routes during the week.

W 64^th St, Millers Ln, and Rose Ct

Concrete sidewalk installation on W 64^th St. is tentatively scheduled for 7/18.
Excavation in preparation for topsoil is occurring sporadically.

Concord Ave

Concrete curb and gutter installation is complete.
Concrete sidewalk installation is tentatively scheduled for 7/18.
The first layer of asphalt paving is complete. Please continue to park vehicles in driveways or on adjacent streets to prevent construction interruptions.
Asphalt driveway restoration paving is scheduled for 7/19.
Check your front door daily for notification of temporary driveway access or water loss.

Ashcroft Ln

Removal of the remaining concrete on the west side of the roadway.
Removal and replacement of poor soils in preparation for curb and gutter.
Water service installation is complete.
Temporary water has been removed.

St. Johns Ave south of Garrison Ln

Removal of temporary water service from homes.
Sump line installation from W64th St to Garrison Ln.
Storm sewer will be installed on Monday, 7/15 and Tuesday, 7/16 at the intersection of St. Johns Ave / Garrison Ln. Please use alternate routes if traveling in this area.
Water service installation is complete.

W. 63^rd St, Garrison Ln, Nancy Ln, and Wooddale Ave – Work tentatively scheduled to begin early July.

Temporary above ground water lines have been installed in preparation for the upcoming water main installation.
Bituminous Roadways will be reaching out to coordinate hooking up the temporary water line to homes the week of 7/15.
Storm sewer will be installed on Monday, 7/15 and Tuesday, 7/16 at the intersection of St. Johns Ave / Garrison Ln. Please use alternate routes if traveling in this area.

W. 62^nd St, Ashcroft Ave, St Johns Ave north of Garrison Ln, and Virginia Ln – Work tentatively scheduled to begin early August.

Please set out your garbage and recycling containers before 6 AM. We have encouraged haulers to arrive early to avoid conflicts with the contractor and their operations.
