Construction Update - 7/26/2024

As construction begins on your street, PLEASE consistently check your front door daily for time sensitive notifications. All updates below are scheduled for the week of 7/29 and are WEATHER PERMITTING.

Traffic Update

• The intersection of Wooddale Ave / Valley View Road will be closed on 7/29 through 7/30. Please use alternative routes.

W 64th St, Millers Ln, and Rose Ct

• Excavation in preparation for topsoil is occurring sporadically.
• Curb and sidewalk installation west of St. Johns Ave.

Concord Ave

• Excavation in preparation for topsoil and retaining walls is occurring sporadically.
• Irrigation repairs will begin.
• Please continue to park vehicles in driveways or on adjacent streets to prevent construction interruptions.
• Check your front door daily for notification of temporary driveway access or water loss.

Ashcroft Ln

• Removal and replacement of poor soils in preparation for curb and gutter will continue between West 63rd St and St. Johns Ave.
• Storm sewer installation at the intersection of Ashcroft Ln and St Johns Ave.
• Installation of curb and gutter followed by concrete driveway restoration is tentatively scheduled to begin on Wednesday, 7/31.
• Check your front door daily for notification of temporary driveway access or water loss.

St. Johns Ave south of Garrison Ln

• Removal of the remaining concrete on the west side of the street, followed by the removal and replacement of poor soils in preparation for curb and gutter.
• Installation of curb and gutter followed by concrete driveway replacements is tentatively scheduled to begin on Wednesday, 7/31.
• Check your front door daily for notification of temporary driveway access or water loss.

W. 63rd St

• Installation of curb and gutter followed by driveway replacements is tentatively scheduled to begin on Wednesday, 7/31.

Garrison Ln, Nancy Ln, and Wooddale Ave

• Installation of the new water main and water services will continue.
• Check your front door daily for notification of temporary driveway access or water loss.

Virginia Ln

• Installation of curb and gutter followed by driveway replacements is tentatively scheduled to begin on Wednesday, 7/31.

W. 62nd St, Ashcroft Ave, St Johns Ave north of Garrison Ln

• Temporary water will begin to be setup in preparation for water main replacement.

Please set out your garbage and recycling containers before 6 AM. We have encouraged haulers to arrive early to avoid conflicts with the contractor and their operations.
