Sanitary Sewer Lining Begins

SAK Construction will be lining the City’s sanitary sewer main via access through manholes in the street. The lining is scheduled to begin in the project area on Monday 10/7 and is anticipated to be complete by late October.

• Limiting major water use is required to avoid a sewer backup.
• Avoid running your washing machine or dishwasher during this work or you risk your sewer backing up.
• Pungent odors from the lining process are common.
• To prevent odors in your home, pour a gallon of water into floor drains and any infrequently used sinks.
• Check your front door daily for details and notice of this work occurring on your street.
• The notice will include information on the process, and approximate length of time your water usage should be minimized.
