Construction Kickoff-Phase 1 set to begin 6/21

Construction is scheduled to begin on 6/21. The following construction activities are scheduled to occur during the week of 6/21 in Phase 1.

• Asphalt pavement reclamation.
  • This process grinds up the pavement and gravel underneath the road to produce a suitable recycled material to use as a temporary driving surface.
• Installation of an above ground temporary water supply system on Beard Ave from Beard Ct to Fuller St and on W 55th St from France Ave to Ewing Ave.
  • This will allow the contractor to replace the existing watermain and services with minimal disruption to your water supply.
  • The contractor will need access to your basement to finalize the setup.
  • The contractor will be contacting you with a knock on the door or a notification on your door to set up temporary water service.
  • Please check your front door frequently for time sensitive notices.
  • The watermain repairs and water service installation is scheduled to finish mid-July, weather permitting.

• Utility improvements

Parking restrictions are in effect for Phase 1. There is No Parking from the hours of 7 AM to 9 PM or until the contractor has noticeably left for the day.
