Construction Update 10/22/2021

Phase 1 and 2

• Sidewalk installation on Beard Avenue is anticipated to occur during the week of 10/25.
• All the landscaping plantings will occur in the spring of 2022.

Phase 1 (West 55th Street, Beard Avenue (south half), Beard Court, Drew Avenue (south half) and Ewing Circle

• A majority of irrigation system repairs are complete. The contractor will repair the remaining few this fall.
• See the post titled "Tips for Growing Green Grass" or watch the video titled "Growing Green Grass" for reference information on your new seeded lawn.

Phase 2 (West 54th Street, Abbott Place, Beard Avenue (north half), Drew Avenue (north half) and Fuller Street.

• Concrete driveway apron installation is complete.
• The first layer of asphalt paving has been rescheduled from Saturday, 10/23 to Monday, 10/25.
• Boulevard excavation in preparation of topsoil and sidewalk installation is expected to begin during the week of 10/25.
• Asphalt driveway installation is scheduled to occur during the week of 10/25.

US Internet

• US Internet fiber optic installation in the City right of way will continue during the week of 10/25.
• US Internet will restore turf impacted by their fiber optic installation.

Parking restrictions remain in effect for phase 1& 2. There is No street Parking from the hours of 7 AM to 9 PM or until the contractor has noticeably left for the day. Please remember these schedules are weather-dependent and are subject to change
