Construction Update 7/30/2021

Phase 1

• Sanitary sewer manhole replacement at W 55th St and Beard Avenue Intersection is scheduled to begin the week of 8/2. Excavation for this manhole will be significant and may last multiple days. Residents on and around Beard Ct should expect limited access to their driveway and roadway while the contractor replaces the manhole. Impacted residents should check your door for a roadway and driveway access restriction notice.
• Storm sewer installation and water service replacements are scheduled to continue during the week of 8/2. Expect water shutoff and limited access to some roads and driveways for short periods. The contractor will knock on your front door to notify you of the temporary water shutoff and driveway access restrictions.
• The watermain system improvements are scheduled to be complete by early August, weather permitting.

Parking restrictions will be in effect for Phase 1. There is No Parking from the hours of 7 AM to 9 PM or until the contractor has noticeably left for the day.
