Construction Update 8/20/2021

Phase 1

• Roadway excavation is ongoing and will continue into the week of 8/23. The contractor will remove at least 1 foot of soil below the current road surface for the full width of the street to install the gravel base and confirm the soils are stable enough to support vehicular traffic. During this work, you can expect periodic loss of access to your driveways for up to an hour. If you need immediate access, please wave to one of the contractors to get their attention and they can accommodate.
• Curb and gutter installation is scheduled to begin mid week during the week of 8/23.
• The utility improvements are complete.

Phase 2

• The contractor anticipates work beginning the week of 9/6, weather permitting.

Parking restrictions will be in effect for Phase 1. There is No Parking from the hours of 7 AM to 9 PM or until the contractor has noticeably left for the day.
