Construction Update 8/6/2021

Phase 1

• Sanitary sewer manhole replacement at W 55th St and Beard Ave intersection is scheduled to finish on 8/6. However, CenturyLink utility ducts will remain exposed to allow for storm sewer and watermain improvements the week of 8/9. CenturyLink's contractor will fence off the open trench over the weekend.
• The contractor will bore a new watermain under Minnehaha Creek at Beard Court during the week of 8/9.
• Storm sewer installation and water service replacements are scheduled to continue during the week of 8/9. Expect water shutoff and limited access to some roads and driveways for short periods. The contractor will knock on your front door to notify you of the temporary water shutoff and driveway access restrictions.
• The watermain system improvements are scheduled to be complete in the next two weeks, weather permitting.

Parking restrictions will be in effect for Phase 1. There is No Parking from the hours of 7 AM to 9 PM or until the contractor has noticeably left for the day.
