Start Seeing Trucks

City Council Approved a Pre-Construction tree and earthwork package on November 18th. This portion of work will happen in the next 3 weeks starting November 24th.

Work will start with selective tree removals. These trees need to be removed because of grade changes for park amenities and layout. Tree removals will only be happening in area north of the former clubhouse and maintenance buildings. Additional tree removals will happen next year with construction package.

Trucks will be delivering 4,163 cubic yards of dirt that will be placed in an area north of the former clubhouse and maintenance buildings.

The dirt has to settle and compact for a few months before being placed in areas where hard surfaces such as courts will go. Delivering it now will provide plenty of compaction time before major earthwork planned for 2026.

Trucks are expected to use the former golf course entrance off Parklawn Avenue to drop off the material.
