Healing Circles - An Edina Public Art Initiative

Developed by Edina Public School art teacher Leanne French-Amara in collaboration with digital artist Boo McCaleb and EPS art teachers, students from grades K-12 created a public art project of circles representing healing, growth and connection in art classes across the district. On Friday October 7 from 6:45-9:45 pm during the EHS football game, an outdoor immersive display of the student art was digitally projected onto the Edina Community Center building.

Healing Circles is a community art and culture initiative that engages youth in restorative guided art projects to promote self-expression and spark community conversation around mental health.

This project is an initiative of the City of Edina Arts and Culture Commission with the Edina Public Schools.
