Construction Update 11/12/2021

Phase 2:

• The final layer of asphalt pavement on the remaining portions of Grove Street has been rescheduled for Monday, 11/15 (weather permitting).

Phase 3:

• The contractor will apply hydromulch to the topsoil throughout the phase during the week of 11/15.
• The final layer of asphalt pavement has been rescheduled for Monday, 11/15 (weather permitting).

Phase 4:

• Topsoil placement is scheduled to resume Monday, 11/15.
• The contractor will apply hydromulch to the topsoil throughout the phase the week of 11/15.

Phase 5:

• The first layer of asphalt pavement will be complete on 11/12.
• Topsoil placement will begin the week of 11/15.
• Mailbox reinstallations will occur during the week of 11/15.
• Asphalt driveway patching is expected to begin on 11/15.
• The final layer of asphalt pavement is scheduled to be installed late in the week of 11/15.

All Phases

The Contractor will begin sawing and sealing the asphalt pavement beginning the week of 11/15 in Phase 1. This process provides room for the asphalt to expand and contract during the freeze thaw cycle. This work is anticipated to take a few hours per block, and will continue in each phase after the final asphalt layer is placed.
