Construction Update 9/23/2021

Phase 3:

• The storm sewer installation completion date has been extended to 9/28.
• The street excavation completion date has been extended to 9/27.
• Concrete curb and gutter installation will follow street excavation and is scheduled to continue the week of 9/27 on remaining phase 3 streets.
• After the curb is installed, crews will begin grading the boulevards for topsoil placement.
• The first lift of asphalt is scheduled for late in the week of 9/27.

Phase 4:

• Sidewalk excavation is now anticipated to begin on 10/4, with concrete work to follow soon after.
• The remaining storm sewer installation is expected to be complete on 9/28.
• Street Excavation is complete on W 56th St between Code Ave and Dale Ave. The remainder of the street excavation will take place the week of 9/27.

Phase 5:

• The temporary above ground watermain installation is in progress. Following sanitizing of the temporary system, Kusske Construction will be contacting you with a knock on the door or a notification on your door to set up temporary water service. Access to your basement is necessary to finalize the water connection.
• The watermain installation is scheduled to begin the week of 9/27.
• Water service installation will follow watermain installation and is anticipated to begin the week of 10/4.
