Turf Restoration Update

For the vast majority of properties, turf restoration is complete, and the contractor watering period has concluded at your property.

Watering will be the responsibility of the property owner. The City will no longer be watering at your property. Mature lawns require around a minimum of 1 inch of water per week to be healthy. When watering grass, please keep in mind that frequent, lighter waterings are not desirable, as they encourage shallow roots instead of deep roots. Lawns need deep roots to help them withstand periods of little or no rain. The roots require at least a year to reach their full length.
