Public Hearing: 169 Noise Walls

Recall, MnDOT, in partnership with the City of Edina, has scheduled a noise walls to be constructed in 2022 on TH-169 north and south of Highway 62. Funding for the wall, per MnDOT’s Noise Wall Policy, is a cost share split with 90% being paid by MnDOT and 10% to be paid locally. The 10% local cost would be assessed to the residents that receive benefit from the noise wall installation.

The North Wall is being proposed from Waterford Court to 5901 Lincoln Drive. Click here for a map of the proposed North Wall.

Meeting "packets" are document prepared by staff to provide the City Council or Commission with information they need for specific agenda items. These documents are available for print, published on the City's website and maintained in a permanent electronic record.
