A variance to the requirement that impervious surface be limited to 50% of lot coverage is requested at property located at 5916 Kellogg Ave. So. The proposal would decrease non-conforming coverage from 54.9% (existing) to 53.8% (proposed). The two-car garage on the property currently sits at an angle in the backyard with the garage door facing the neighbor's home to the South. Applicants propose to move the garage to the Southwest corner of the property and rotate the garage so that the garage door faces Kellogg Ave. The project will reduce the size of the garage from 543 Sq. Ft. to 528 Sq. Ft. The proposal also reduces the size of the driveway from 1,305 Sq. Ft. to 1,235 Sq. Ft.
