This variance was approved at the Planning Commission on April 26, 2023.
The applicant is requesting a setback variance for a retaining wall. Retaining walls over 4 feet tall require a 3 foot setback from the property line. The applicant is requesting a 3-foot setback to allow the retaining wall to be right up to the east side property line at 6805 Paiute Drive. There is an existing retaining wall that the applicant is proposing to replace. A portion of the existing retaining wall is located on the adjacent neighbors property. The proposed retaining wall will be entirely on the subject property.
