6600-6800 France Ave. S. Sketch Plan for onFrance

Sketch plan proposal to re-develop a portion of the 22-acre parcel at 6600-6800 France. The specific proposal is to tear down the middle buildings on the site (6750, 6740 and 6700 France) and build a 3-4 story medical office building and restaurant. The applicant is proposing a significant change to the development plans that were approved for this site in 2017. Two options are provided for consideration. The first is a proposal to attempt to fit in to the approved PUD, Planned Unit Development for the site; and the second is to rescind the existing PUD, and re-zone the site back to POD, Planned Office District. This sketch plan will be considered by the Planning Commission on September 27, 2023 and by the City Council on November 8, 2023.
