After the initial establishment period, the site would roll into the long-term natural areas management program.  

Shoreline naturalization and natural areas maintenance projects are paid for through the stormwater utility fund and have been approved in the City’s Capital Improvement Plan. No part of the project would be special assessed to property owners.
