Construction Update - 6/23/2023

Phase 1: Grimes Ave and Inglewood Ave

• A select number of trees are scheduled to be removed during the week of 6/26.
• Water main improvements will continue into the week of 6/26. The contractor will then begin replacing water service pipes.
• Roadway excavation and gravel installation is tentatively scheduled to begin in the middle of July.
• Check your front door daily for temporary loss of driveway access.

Phase 2: Monterey Ave and Lynn Ave – Work tentatively scheduled to begin in July

• A select number of tree removals will be completed in concurrence with Phase 1 tree removals, scheduled to occur during the week of 6/26.
• The contractor is scheduled to begin reclaiming the roadways in the middle of July. Reclaiming is the process of grinding the existing asphalt into a gravel base and is anticipated to take 1-2 days to complete.

Phase 3: Kipling Ave and W 40^th St – Work tentatively scheduled to begin in August

• A select number of tree removals will be completed in concurrence with Phase 1 tree removals, scheduled to occur during the week of 6/26.
