Public Hearing: 2023 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM

This was approved at the City Council meeting on February 21, 2023.

The Community Development Block Grant Program is a federal entitlement program administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and managed by Hennepin County to oversee the distribution of funds to cities. The funds are to be used for improvements of housing and providing a suitable living environment for persons with low and moderate incomes.

The public hearing is on the housing and community development needs and the city's proposed use of the 2023 Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Program funding allocation of $124,629.

The City of Edina is proposing to undertake the following activities with 2023 Urban Hennepin County CDBG funds starting on or about July 1, 2023.
