The proposed variance request was denied by the Planning Commission on May 26, 2021 (5-1, Agnew Nay).


The property owner, Matthew Zung, has submitted a variance application to allow a 6-foot fence along Benton Avenue at the subject property, 5828 Eastview Drive. 5828 Eastview Drive is a corner lot located at the northeast intersection of Benton Avenue and Eastview Drive. The subject property has two required front yard setbacks, one along Benton Avenue, and one along Eastview Drive. Fences are allowed to be up to 4 feet tall within a required front yard setback.
