Weekly Construction Update #2

Work Completed the Week of July 13th
- Centerpoint Energy finished their gas main relocations and upgrades for their work on W. 72nd Street.
- Xcel Energy began power pole relocations.
- The sewer bypassing piping was installed along the north side of W. 72nd Street, short-term intersection closures occurred as the contractor buried the piping underneath the roadway.
- The sewer bypass piping was connected into a manhole between Lynmar Lane & France Avenue. Eastbound and westbound W. 72nd traffic will encounter a stopping to take turns requirement with only the south side lane open. The project team suggests accessing from the north as much as possible.
- Phase 1 removals occurred.
Work Plan for the Week of July 20th
- Xcel Energy will continue with their relocations.
- Phase 1 removals will be completed.
- Storm sewer work at the intersection of Cornelia Drive & W. 72nd Street will begin. Residents living on Cornelia Drive south of W. 72nd should use Glouchester Avenue for access in/out during the workday (7 am to 7 pm).

- Please reference the residential access map for suggested routes through the project area during the week of 7/20. This map will be updated as the project progresses.
