CenterPoint Energy’s contractor, Michels, will be replacing most of the gas main and gas services throughout the project area this summer. All questions and concerns related to the gas main replacement should be directed to CenterPoint Energy. Gas main replacement is scheduled to begin on Tuesday.

Road excavation: During road excavation, the contractor will remove soils to a depth of 1 - 3 feet below the current road surface for the full width of the street. This is done to install the gravel base and confirm the soils are stable enough to support vehicular traffic. During excavation, crews will be working in front of roughly 8 homes at a time. The contractor will provide access to or from driveways but please be advised the crew may need up to 10 minutes to build a ramp to your driveway. If you need immediate access to or from your home, please wave to one of the contractors to get their attention. They are friendly and have been notified to ramp driveways where needed.

Comanche Court - Crews will begin removing all of the curb and gutter in the cul-de-sac bulb and portions of curb that are cracked or damaged along the remainder of the street. New concrete curb and gutter is tentatively scheduled for late in the week. If driveway parking will be affected, a notification directing you where to park will be left on your front door. The sanitary sewer is scheduled to be rehabilitated by pipe lining method mid-week. We request that you limit use of your sewer during this time. Please check your front door for a notice from Visu-Sewer regarding this work.

Paiute Circle/Drive/Pass - Crews will continue road excavation. Crews will be installing the remaining sump drain clean outs. New concrete curb and gutter is tentatively scheduled for late in the week. If driveway parking will be affected, a notification directing you where to park will be left on your front door.

Sally Lane - Crews will continue road excavation. Crews will be removing portions of damaged curb and gutter. New concrete curb and gutter is tentatively scheduled for late in the week. If driveway parking will be affected, a notification directing you where to park will be left on your front door.

Bello Drive, Shawnee Cir & Overholt Ps - Late next week crews are planning to reclaim the road surface. The reclaiming process includes grinding the existing pavement along with some of the gravel underneath the road to produce a suitable recycled material to use as the new road base. This is continuous and slow-moving work that will block a lane of traffic and driveways at times. We request your patience as there may be a brief 10 - 15 minutes period where driveways may be inaccessible.

If you are planning to connect to the new sump line you may schedule this work now. Please have your contractor contact me.
