    The project is now considered substantially complete. There are minor items remaining that the contractor will address in the Spring of 2020.

    The seeded areas will be monitored throughout the Spring of 2020 to ensure proper turf establishment.

    Due to weather the final lift of paving has been rescheduled for Monday, October 21.

    Crews will also be onsite during the week of October 21 to complete turf restoration work, repair irrigation systems and begin restoring landscaping items.

    During the week of October 7th crews installed the remainder of the concrete curb along Brookside Terrace north of West 44th Street.

    Final paving of the roadway is tentatively scheduled to occur during the week of October 14. Following the paving, crews will begin work on landscaping items, tree plantings and various other loose ends.

    During the week of September 30th CenterPoint Energy lowered the Brookside Terrace conflicting shallow gas service line, which will allow crews to complete the concrete work during the week of October 7th.

    Final paving of the roadway is tentatively scheduled for the end next week. Following the paving, crews will begin work on landscaping items, tree plantings and various other loose ends.

    During the week of September 30th CenterPoint Energy lowered the Brookside Terrace conflicting shallow gas service line, which will allow crews to complete the concrete work during the week of October 7th.

    CenterPoint Energy also lowered the gas services that conflicted with the proposed curb on the north end of Brookside Terrace.

    Curb and gutter installation on the remainder of Brookside Terrace is tentatively scheduled for October 3rd.

    During the week of September 16th crews completed most of the concrete work in the project area. The north end of Brookside Terrace is still on hold until CenterPoint Energy can relocate two shallow gas services, which is scheduled for the week of September 23rd.

    The first layer of asphalt pavement is tentatively scheduled for September 25th along Motor Street and the portion of Brookside Terrace with curb and gutter.

    During the week of September 16th crews completed most of the concrete work in the project area. The north end of Brookside Terrace is still on hold until CenterPoint Energy can relocate two shallow gas services, which is scheduled for the week of September 23rd.

    During the week of September 9th crews installed some of the concrete curb and gutter throughout the project site. Crews will continue with the installation on Monday, September 16th. The north end of Brookside Terrace north of W. 44th St. is currently on hold until CenterPoint Energy relocates two shallow gas services. Towards the end of the week of September 16th crews will begin to prepare the road base for asphalt paving.

    On September 3rd crews began excavating and grading the roadway. Some of the road base material was unsuitable and removed and replaced with a better road base material.

    Crews will continue grading the street in preparation for the new concrete curb and gutter, which is tentatively scheduled for the week of September 9th. CenterPoint Energy may also be adjusting some gas services that conflict with the new roadway.

    During the week of August 26th crews completed the sediment removal from Minnehaha Creek and installed the new storm sewer, including treatment structures to minimize sediment accumulation into the creek.

    The week of September 2nd crews will begin preparing the road base which will be followed by concrete curb and gutter installation the week of September 9.
