West 72nd Street Pedestrian Safety Assessment Update

At the June 4 City Council meeting, staff presented the Public Participation Proposal for the West 72nd Street Pedestrian Safety Assessment. The goal of this project will be to determine if intersection improvements are warranted at the intersections of Cornelia Drive and/or Oaklawn Avenue. The project will involve testing temporary curb extensions, measuring changes in vehicle and pedestrian behavior, and collecting public input through online surveys.
