I'm writing in support of the Zoning Ordinance Amendment (Chp. 36 of the City Code). Our continuing affordable housing crisis, made worse by an economic downturn with Great Depression levels of unemployment, means we must do everything possible to facilitate the creation of affordable housing, especially in commercial areas near jobs and public transportation. This Zoning Ordinance Amendment will support that goal. Please approve.

Thank you. Hope
