On February 17, 2021, the Edina City Council approved a contract with paleBLUEdot to facilitate the creation of the City's Climate Action Plan. You can view the meeting here. View all City Council meetings here.

Local to the Twin Cities metro, paleBLUEdot understands and already has experience in the Edina community. Contracting with a local firm means the City will not incur additional greenhouse gas emissions by asking a national or regional firm to travel to Edina, and the contract fee paid to paleBLUEdot stays in the Twin Cities, bolstering the local economy.

paleBLUEdot brings a breadth of experiences to Edina, having previously worked with other city, state and tribal governments on similar projects, and includes a team of experts with diverse backgrounds and a commitment to community equity.

With Council approval of this request for purchase, the City will take the next step to address the challenge of climate change in Edina.
