Community Climate Action Tracker
almost 2 years agoThe Community Climate Action Tracker invites Edina community members to make a public commitment to climate action in 2022. Simply choose from existing climate actions or write your own. The City will use this information to celebrate climate action in the community.
Ready to commit? Here are some existing climate actions you can copy/paste into your own commitment, or to inspire new actions. Check out the full Climate Action Plan here.

Greenspace & Trees: Plant one tree in 2022 at home or in your community Greenspace & Trees: Start a flower garden using native seeds Greenspace & Trees: Transition your landscaping to native plants Transportation: Drive one less time per week Transportation: Consider buying electric when you need to replace your car Transportation: Walk, bike or take the bus one extra time per week Waste & Water: Participate in Edina's organics collection Waste & Water: Reduce your weekly trash bag count by one Energy: Sign up for a Home Energy Squad visit Energy: Consider switching to electric appliances (stove, water heater, home heat) Energy: Subscribe to wind or solar for your energy needs Climate Health: Join one neighborhood event this yearClimate Health: Host a CAP-in-a-box meeting with a group you're already a part of
