During the COVID-19 outbreak, the City of Edina has received an overwhelming response from Edina residents wanting to help and give back during this challenging time. If you are interested in giving back please fill out the following form.

We truly appreciate all who want to be involved as we face this emergency! As you use this site to find ways to give back, keep in mind that organizations are adapting their services and volunteer opportunities in alignment with current health guidance and the evolving needs of our community. We urge you to be flexible, proactive, and safe in your volunteer response.

Human service organizations you can help!

The City of Edina is supported by several Human Service Organizations that will play a vital role in aiding in the relief and needs of Edina residents. Consider volunteering or donating to these organizations. If you see something missing on this page or inaccurate, complete this form to let us know.

VEAP is working on revamping their services so they may continue supporting residents with COVID-19 restrictions in effect.

Help at your door helps seniors and individuals with disabilities to continue living in their homes. They have shopping and delivery services available for those who can not or are at high risk of leaving their homes during COVID-19. They need volunteers!

The Edina Community Foundation has established a Coronavirus Relief Fund to enable our community to help meet the needs of local individuals adversely affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Hennepin County has established drop off sites for needed items. The Southdale Library located in Edina is one of three sites.

Northstar Neighbor exists to serve our neighbors who are at higher risk of COVID-19 complications. We make one-on-one connections between a healthy volunteer who has low COVID-19 risk factors with a senior or other high-risk person in the same community for remote companionship, conversation and help with delivery of groceries or prescriptions.
