Design and Bidding Update

The 50^th Street and Grange Road Street Reconstruction Project design is nearly complete. 90% plans are being reviewed to ensure they are consistent with city standards and the East Grandview Transportation Study. Staff has been meeting with specific area residents working out project related details. The residents have been great and in most cases willing to provide additional easements for sidewalks. This will make the project better by allowing wider sidewalks that will feel safer. We appreciate the their willingness to work with us to make the pedestrian network better. Signed construction plans will be posted for bidding soon with an anticipated bid opening of March 8.
