July 24 Pile Driving Update

The installation of two sheet pile walls did not go according to plan. The soils were different then the soil borings indicated. Staff is working with the structural engineers and the contractor to determine a new plan. After a new plan is determined, we will update the project schedule. We understand the importance of opening 50th Street to traffic as soon as it is safe to do so. Thanks for the understanding.
