Shoreline naturalization and natural areas maintenance projects are paid for through the stormwater utility fund and have been approved in the City’s Capital Improvement Plan. No part of the project would be special assessed to property owners.

Natural areas require ongoing maintenance. The project will be incorporated into the long term natural areas management program along with other natural areas throughout the City.  

Some of the site preparation including buckthorn removal can occur before the street reconstruction process. We'll wait to do seeding and planting until the street reconstruction process is complete.
