Construction Kickoff!

As construction begins in your phase, we would like to stress the importance of checking your front door daily for time sensitive notifications. We invite you to review this document summarizing what to expect during construction.

Phase 1: Grimes Ave and Inglewood Ave – Work beginning June 6

• Grimes Ave and Inglewood Ave are scheduled to be reclaimed on June 6. Reclaiming is the process of grinding the existing asphalt into a gravel base.
• In preparation for the underground utility work, removals including curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways, and landscaping is scheduled to start June 7. A select number of tree removals will be completed as well.
• Setup of the temporary above ground water main is scheduled to start the week of 6/5.
• Following temporary water setup, the utility subcontractor, Kusske Construction, will be reaching out to residents to set up temporary water service. They will need access to the home to finalize the transition to the temporary watermain.
• Check your front door daily for notification of temporary driveway access or water loss.
• Utility work to begin following reclaim and removals.

Phase 2: Monterey Ave and Lynn Ave – Work tentatively scheduled to begin early July

• A select number of tree removals will be completed in concurrence with Phase 1 tree removals.

Phase 3: Kipling Ave and W 40^th St – Work tentatively scheduled to begin early August

• A select number of tree removals will be completed in concurrence with Phase 1 tree removals.

Please set out your garbage and recycling containers before 6 AM. We have encouraged haulers to arrive early to avoid conflicts with the contractor and their operations.
