Construction Update - 10/20/2023

Phase 1: Grimes Ave and Inglewood Ave

• Irrigation system repairs are complete, except for a select few corner lots where additional construction remains. Please contact Nina if you have issues with your system.

Phase 2: Monterey Ave and Lynn Ave

• The sidewalk installation is complete.
• Topsoil installation began and will continue the week of 10/23.
• Irrigation system repairs will begin the week of 10/23. Please reach out to Nina if your system has not been repaired.
• If you had landscaping plantings, rock etc. impacted by construction, we need your help providing an itemized list of replacement landscaping items so the contractor can place the order with their supplier. Please reach out to Nina with details if you haven’t done so already.

Phase 3: Kipling Ave and W 40^th St

• Concrete curb and gutter, driveway aprons, and concrete driveways are complete.
• Concrete sidewalk began and will continue the week of 10/23.
• The base layer of asphalt is scheduled for Saturday, 10/21.
  1. Work will begin at 7 AM. Please check your front door for notice and where to park your vehicle if it is needed during the day.
  2. The asphalt may be driven on following final compaction rolling.
  3. Asphalt driveway restoration is scheduled for middle of the week of 10/23.
• Topsoil installation will begin following concrete sidewalk completion.

Project Wide

• The remaining concrete sidewalk is scheduled to be completed the week of 10/23.
• The final asphalt layer is tentatively scheduled for the week of 11/6.
