Construction Update - 10/6/2023

Phase 1: Grimes Ave and Inglewood Ave

• Irrigation system repairs are complete, except for a select few corner lots where additional construction remains. Please contact Nina if you have issues with your system.
• The final layer of asphalt will be completed once all 3 phases of the project are complete, tentatively scheduled for late October.

Phase 2: Monterey Ave and Lynn Ave

• Partial sidewalk installation occurred on Lynn Ave. The remaining sidewalk installation on Lynn Ave and Monterey Ave is tentatively scheduled for mid-October.
• Topsoil installation began and will continue after completion of sidewalk installation.
• Irrigation system repairs began on the non-sidewalk side of the street. Please reach out to Nina if your system has not been repaired.
  • Irrigation system repairs will be completed on the sidewalk side of the street after the concrete walk is complete.
• If you had landscaping plantings, rock etc. impacted by construction, we need your help providing an itemized list of replacement landscaping items so the contractor can place the order with their supplier. Please reach out to Nina with details if you haven’t done so already.

Phase 3: Kipling Ave and W 40^th St

• All utility work is substantially complete.
• Roadway excavation on W 40^th St is complete. Roadway excavation on Kipling Ave is scheduled to be complete on 10/6.
• Concrete curb and gutter is scheduled for the week of 10/9.
• Concrete driveway aprons, concrete driveways, and concrete sidewalk are tentatively scheduled to follow curb installation the week of 10/9.
• The base layer of asphalt is tentatively scheduled for mid-late October.
• If you had landscaping plantings, rock etc. impacted by construction, we need your help providing an itemized list of replacement landscaping items so the contractor can place the order with their supplier. Please reach out to Nina with details if you haven’t done so already.
