Construction Update - 6/30/2023

The Contractor will NOT be working Monday 7/3 or Tuesday 7/4.


Phase 1: Grimes Ave and Inglewood Ave

  • Tree removals complete.
  • Water main improvements will be completed by 6/30. Residents currently on temporary water service will be returned to full service starting the week of 7/3.
  • Storm sewer improvements to begin the week of 7/3.
  • Roadway excavation and gravel installation is tentatively scheduled to begin by mid-July.
  • Check your front door daily for temporary loss of driveway access.


Phase 2: Monterey Ave and Lynn Ave Work tentatively scheduled to begin 7/10

  • Tree removals complete.
  • The contractor is scheduled to begin reclaiming the roadways the week of 7/10. Reclaiming is the process of grinding the existing asphalt into a gravel base and is anticipated to take 1-2 days to complete.


Phase 3: Kipling Ave and W 40th St – Work tentatively scheduled to begin in August

  • Tree removals complete.
