Construction Update - 9/8/2023

Phase 1: Grimes Ave and Inglewood Ave

• Irrigation system repairs are complete, except for a select few corner lots where additional construction remains. Please contact Nina if you have issues with your system.
• Topsoil installation is complete. Seeding, hydro mulch and watering is scheduled to begin the week of 9/11.
• The final layer of asphalt will be completed once all 3 phases of the project are complete.

Phase 2: Monterey Ave and Lynn Ave

• Concrete curb and gutter is complete.
• Concrete driveways, aprons, and select sidewalk work began the week of 9/4.
  • Work will continue on Saturday, 9/9.
• Final roadway grading is scheduled to begin the week of 9/11.
• The base layer of asphalt is tentatively scheduled to be paved the week of 9/18, but could occur sooner.
  • Check your front door daily for on-street parking impacts.
• If you had landscaping plantings, rock etc. impacted by construction, we need your help providing an itemized list of replacement landscaping items so the contractor can place the order with their supplier. Please reach out to Nina with details.

Phase 3: Kipling Ave and W 40^th St

• Water service replacements are scheduled to begin the week of 9/11.
• Storm sewer on W 40^th St will be completed the week of 9/4.
• Sump drain installation and storm sewer improvements on Kipling Ave will begin following the completion of water services.
• Remaining curb and gutter removal on the south side of W 40^th St will occur as needed to perform work.
