Construction Update - 9/1/2023

NO WORK WILL OCCUR ON LABOR DAY, MONDAY 9/4.

Morningside Road, Grimes Avenue between Morningside Rd and W. 44^th St, W 42^nd St

• Irrigation repairs are complete. Please contact Nina if there are remaining issues with your system if you have not already done so.
• Topsoil installation will continue into the week of 9/4.
• Seeding and hydro mulching is scheduled following the completion of the topsoil installation. Stay tuned for tips on growing green grass.
• The final layer of asphalt is tentatively scheduled for mid-late September.

Turf Restoration in areas with weeds

• The contractor began reworking the weeded areas. New topsoil will be placed in low areas, followed by seed, hydromulch and watering.

Project Wide

• Retaining wall installations at select locations will continue after concrete items have been completed.
• Concrete sidewalk and driveway apron work is scheduled for the week of 9/4.
• Replacement of landscaping items impacted by construction are scheduled to continue the week of 9/11.
  • If you had landscaping plantings, rock etc. impacted by construction, we need your help providing an itemized list of replacement landscaping items so the contractor can place the order with their supplier.
