Available now - Revised 30 Percent Plan

A revised 30% design plan is available in the Documents section.

The revised 30% was modified as such;

1. Ice rink to remain in existing location. Rink lighting and boards will be improved as part of a separate contract.
2. Open skate area from ice rink to Grimes Ave unchanged and may be considered as part of a future park improvement project. This removed the nature play concept, pavilion structure, soil amendments, and irrigation improvements.
3. Removal of outfield fences between the new baseball/softball fields to retain multi-use field.
4. Creation of a large open space between the new baseball/softball fields by piping the swale under the fields, includes grading, soil amendments and irrigation systems.

Staff will make a recommendation and City Council will consider making a decision on the 30% design plan at their October 19th regular meeting.
