Construction Update – 5/2/2025

As construction begins in your phase, we would like to stress the importance of checking your front door daily for time sensitive notifications.

Project Area

• See the proposed phasing map for construction.
• Tree removals are now complete throughout the project.

Phase 1:

• Vehicles cannot be parked on the street during construction.
• Removals including curb and gutter, driveways, and landscaping will continue into the week of 5/5.
• Setup of temporary watermain will begin in preparation for watermain improvements the week of 5/5.

CenterPoint Energy:

• CenterPoint Energy's work is not part of the City's Presidents Neighborhood Roadway Reconstruction contract. Please set out your garbage and recycling containers before 6 AM. We encouraged haulers to arrive early to avoid conflicts with the contractor and their operations.
