Construction Update - 6/6/2025

Phase 1

• Vehicles cannot be parked on the street during construction.
• Storm sewer installation will begin the week of 6/9.
• Water service installation on Jackson Ave is complete.
• Watermain service installation begins on Van Buren Ave the week of 6/9.
• Check your front door daily for notification of temporary driveway access or water loss.

Alleys west of Madison Avenue

• Alley paving will occur at a future date when the roadways are paved.

Phase 2

• Curb and gutter removal is complete.
• Temporary water line installation begins the week of 6/9.

CenterPoint Energy

• CenterPoint Energy's work is not part of the City's Presidents Neighborhood Roadway Reconstruction contract.
• For additional information regarding the Maloney Avenue road closure can be found here.

Please set out your garbage and recycling containers before 6 AM. We encouraged haulers to arrive early to avoid conflicts with the contractor and their operations.
