Construction Update – 8/8/2025

All Phases

• PLEASE consistently check your front door daily for time sensitive notifications of temporary driveway access or water loss.
• Vehicles cannot be parked on the street during construction.
• Please set out your garbage and recycling containers before 6 AM. We encouraged haulers to arrive early to avoid conflicts with the contractor and their operations.

Phase 1

• Excavation in preparation for topsoil installation will continue the week of 8/11.
• Retaining wall installation is complete.
• Replacement of landscape items that were removed during construction will begin the week of 8/11.

Alleys west of Madison Avenue

• Alley paving will occur at a future date when the Phase 2 roadways are paved.

Phase 2

• Storm sewer installation is complete.
• Sump line installation will continue the week of 8/11.
• Removal and replacement of poor soils in preparation for the new roadway is scheduled to begin the week of 8/11.

Phase 3

• Removals of the existing curb and driveway ends on Adams Ave, and Belmore Ave will continue into the week of 8/11.
• Temporary water line installation is scheduled to continue into the week of 8/11.
  • The watermain subcontractor, Kusske Construction, will be reaching out to residents to set up temporary water service to homes.
  • Anticipate short term water loss during this process.
• Installation of the new water main is scheduled to begin the week of 8/11.
