CenterPoint Energy Construction Update

CenterPoint Energy will be replacing old gas main pipes and services in the western portion of the project area this spring. Some details on CenterPoint Energy's project:

1. CenterPoint Energy’s contractor, Michels Corporation, is scheduled to begin gas main installation on April 13.
2. City staff will only be onsite for this work periodically to ensure the gas main is not placed in the way of future infrastructure
3. If applicable, CenterPoint Energy will also be replacing gas meters inside of property owners homes, relocating them outside.
4. CenterPoint Energy's work is not part of the City's Prospect Knolls Neighborhood Roadway Reconstruction contract. All questions and concerns related to their work should be directed to CenterPoint Energy. They can be reached at csv.constructionservices@centerpointenergy.com or 612-542-6198.
