City Council and Construction Update

The City Council awarded the construction contract to McNamara Contracting on April 7.

A construction kickoff meeting will occur in April where staff will be available to discuss the project details and review frequently asked questions. Standby for a future post and mailing with details on the construction start and kickoff meeting date and location. The tentative construction start date is April 27, the start location is up to the contractor to decide, and is to be determined.

We anticipate the assessment costs to be similar the the following costs, by district, presented at the December 2025 Public Hearing.

  • District 1 - $19,000 per Residential Equivalent Unit (REU)
  • District 2 - $9,700 per REU
  • District 3 - $1,700 per multi-family residential unit (condominium)


The final assessment amounts are payable beginning in 2027 after construction is complete.
