Construction Update - 5/15/2026

Project Area

• See the construction phasing map.
• Please set out your garbage and recycling containers before 6 AM. We encouraged haulers to arrive early to avoid conflicts with the contractor and their operations.
• All work dates below are weather permitting.

Phase 1:

• Vehicles cannot be parked on the street during construction.
• All roads are scheduled to be reclaimed on 5/18. Reclaiming is the process of grinding the existing asphalt into a gravel base.
  • Lanham Ln will be partially reclaimed. The remainder will be reclaimed as the work progresses to reduce erosion.
• Lanham Ln new watermain installation will begin the week of 5/18.
  • Please refer to the map here showing where watermain will be replaced.
• The City's contractor, McNamara Contracting, will be reaching out to residents on Lanham Lane to set up temporary water service to homes getting watermain replacement.
  • Please see the sample door hanger notice here that will be given out to affected properties.
• Antrim Ct, Antrim Terr, and Tara Rd temporary watermain set up will continue into the week of 5/18.
• Check your front door daily for notification of temporary driveway access or water loss.
• Hydrant, watermain gate valve, and water service replacement on Lee Valley Circle and Weston Circle are complete.

Xcel Energy:

• Xcel Energy began removing streetlights on Lanham Lane, Tara Road, Kemrich Drive, Weston Circle, and Village Drive to prepare for their upcoming streetlight replacement project.

CenterPoint Energy:

• CenterPoint Energy will start installing new gas service lines the week of 5/18 and is expected to be complete by mid-June.
• CenterPoint Energy has completed gas main installation.
• CenterPoint Energy's work is not part of the City's Neighborhood Roadway Reconstruction contract. All questions and concerns related to their work should be directed to CenterPoint Energy. They can be reached at
