Construction Update - 5/22/2026

Project Area

• No work will occur on Memorial Day, Monday, 5/25.
• See the construction phasing map.
• Please set out your garbage and recycling containers before 6 AM. We encouraged haulers to arrive early to avoid conflicts with the contractor and their operations.
• All work dates below are weather permitting.

Traffic Update:

• Expect delays on Lanham Ln southbound at Kemrich Dr on 5/27 and 5/28. Please utilize northbound Lanham Ln toward W. 70th St.

Phase 1:

• Vehicles cannot be parked on the street during construction.
• Lanham Ln watermain installation near Kemrich Drive is scheduled to begin the week of 5/26.
  • Please refer to the map here showing where watermain will be replaced.
• The City's contractor, McNamara Contracting, will be reaching out to residents on Lanham Lane and Tara Road to set up temporary water service to homes getting watermain replacement.
  • Please see the sample door hanger notice here that will be given out to affected properties.
• Weston Circle and Lee Valley Circle sump drain installation will continue into the week of 5/26.
• Watermain installation on Lanham Lane from W 70th Street to Fleetwood Drive is complete.
• Check your front door daily for notification of temporary driveway access or water loss.

CenterPoint Energy:

• CenterPoint Energy will continue installing new gas service lines the week of 5/26 and is expected to be complete by mid-June.
• CenterPoint Energy will be doing some restoration work including driveway patching. All questions and concerns related to their restoration should be directed to CenterPoint Energy. They can be reached at
