Construction Update - 7/10/2026

Gleason Road Closure Notice

Gleason Road between Schey Drive and Tupa Drive will be closed for utility improvements until approximately Wednesday, 7/22. The detour route will be Hilary Lane and Valley View Road.

Project Area

• If you have any power outages or electrical appliance issues at your home, please call Xcel Energy at 1-800-895-1999.
• Work will occur on Saturday, July 11.
• Please see the construction phasing map.
• Please set out your garbage and recycling containers before 6 AM. We encouraged haulers to arrive early to avoid conflicts with the contractor and their operations.
• All work dates below are weather permitting.

Mail Delivery

We apologize if delivery of your mail has been disrupted. The City and McNamara continue to coordinate construction activities to provide safe access to temporary mailbox banks and permanent mailboxes whenever possible. However, the City cannot direct USPS delivery operations or require postal carriers to complete deliveries. The City has communicated these concerns to USPS management and continues to request that mail service be provided whenever safe access to the designated delivery location exists.

Phase 1 & 2:

• General Notes
  • Vehicles cannot be parked on the street during construction working hours.
  • Check your front door daily for notification of temporary driveway access or water loss.

Phase 1

• Upcoming Work
  • Tara Road, Kemrich Drive, Antrim Court, and Antrim Terrace curb and gutter installation is scheduled to begin the week of 7/13.
  • Lanham Lane roadway and soil corrections is scheduled to begin the week of 7/13.
  • Lee Valley Circle and Weston Circle sod installation will begin when weather permits.
• Ongoing Work
  • Tara Road and Kemrich Drive roadway excavation and soil corrections will continue into the week of 7/13.
• Completed Work
  • Lanham Lane, Kemrich Drive, and Tara Road sump drain installation is complete.
  • Lee Valley Circle, Weston Circle, and Village Drive temporary turf stabilization has been placed until temperatures are suitable for sod placement.

Phase 2:

• Upcoming Work
  • Fleetwood Drive roadway excavation and soil corrections is scheduled to begin the week of 7/13.
• Ongoing Work
  • Fleetwood Drive storm sewer and sump drain installation is scheduled to continue into the week of 7/13.
  • Dublin Road, Kerry Road, and Wexford Road watermain installation will continue the week of 7/6.
• Completed Work
  • Fleetwood Drive hydrant and gate valve installation is complete.
